- Pegasus Prime 1.0's installation process has been known to automatically install the 1997 version of QuickTime 2.5 over any previously installed version. (don't ask about the bonehead that built that installer) You may need to reinstall a newer version of QuickTime if you've used the aforementioned installer from the Pegasus Prime CD-ROM. Mac OS 9 users can just use the Software Update control panel.
- Users of Mac OS 8 and 9 do not require any special softare updates to play. To avoid the QuickTime version problems mentioned above, please just download this Stuffit file (226KB) to play the game. Pegasus Prime will also run fine under Mac OS X's Classic environment (version 10.2 or later recommended).
- Mac OS 7.5.x users experiencing problems with Pegasus Prime's automatic resolution switching can try downloading DrawSprocket version 1.1.2 and just replace the DrawSprocketLib in your system folder with the newer version. You don't even need to restart! Note that Apple's current version of DrawSprocket (1.7.5) only supports Mac OS 8.1 or later, so update that crickety old system software!
