How does Pegasus Prime fit into the Journeyman Series?
Pegasus Prime is a classic retelling of the best-selling CD-ROM that started it all. Based on the compelling story of the original Journeyman Project, the graphics and gameplay have been completely recrafted to show off the awesome power of the hottest new game technology. Fully-animated motion through eye-popping environments, intensely realistic robot adversaries, and not-to-be-believed new gameplay sequences are just a few of the substantial improvements.

Does the program's performance have an affect time within the game?
In some instances there may be an activity that needs to be completed within a designated amount of time. If your system is busy loading data, it may impede your progress. It is recommended that you optimize your system for the best performance.

Do I need to complete the Time Zones in any particular order?
No. Although there are some tasks that need to be completed in a specific sequence, you have full freedom to move about each time zone freely. Remember that upon entering a time zone, you will always return to the same spot in time, so you may need to repeat some actions.

Can I transport back to any location within a time zone?
No. Whenever you transport to a mission environment via Pegasus (Prehistoric, Mars, Norad, WSC), you will always be transported into the same location and direction every time. If you explore a time zone for a while but do not complete the time zone, you will have to transport back to the beginning point of that zone.

Can you miss an object in a time zone and then be unable to complete a mission?
No. You may find your progress temporarily halted, however you can use the Pegasus biochip to "recall" you back to TSA. From there, you can continue on to another time zone.

Can I control the movement of the tunnel pod or shuttle on the Mars Colony or the sub in Norad?
No. The computer automatically controls these three vessels.

Why is the solve button disabled in my Artificial Intelligence biochip?
Either you are not located next to a solvable puzzle (check the walkthrough for these locations) or you are playing the game in "adventure" mode. Pause the game and switch difficulty to "walkthru" mode.

When I accumulate more than nine objects in my inventory, one object is removed to make room for new item. Will I need to use the deleted item again later on in the game?
No. Although some objects will be used at a later time, and possibly more than once, Pegasus Prime automatically removes objects whose function is complete and are no longer needed:

Expendable Items: (in order of least priority)

  • Beverage Glass
  • Poison Dart (removes itself upon use; only after analysis)
  • Journeyman Key (only after opening the Prehistoric vault)
  • Access Card
  • Nitrogen Canister (only after deactivating Mars bomb game)
  • Power crowbar
  • Oxygen Mask

Items that will not allow you to use the Pegasus recall function if they are in your possession and will ultimately lead to your death:

  • Gas Canister
  • Assault Rifle

Items that can never be removed:

  • Argon canister
  • Office keycard
  • Card keyring
  • Antidote
  • Stun Gun
  • Card Bomb
  • Historical log (removes itself upon use)

How is the game structured over the series of 4 discs?
Pegasus Prime does not store the game as sections of a linear story. Instead, each disc contains time zone environments in the following manner:
  • Disc 1 - Caldoria, Norad Alpha, Pegasus Device, Installer
  • Disc 2 - Prehistoric, Temporal Security Agency & Pegasus Device
  • Disc 3 - Mars, Pegasus Device
  • Disc 4 - World Science Center, Norad Delta, Pegasus Device

What is the 'Gandhi' bonus?
The 'Gandhi' bonus is given to players who successfully complete all three missions (Mars, Norad, and WSC) using "non-violent" methods.
