the flow of gameplay to swap discs, the player stays immersed

been completely remastered (see the feature list below),
to take full advantage of DVD's capabilities for unprecedented
graphics and sound in a computer game.

Just using the DVD-ROM as a big CD-ROM wasn't enough!
The 'Enhanced' version also takes advantage of
the higher data-rate and storage capabilities of DVD.
- Over half an hour of cinematic movies with double the video playback resolution of the original CD-ROM
- Specially remastered spherical VR graphics featuring sharper detail and brighter colors
- All gameplay animation sequences have been upgraded to play back with twice the original detail
- Exclusive broadcast-quality MPEG-2 version of the Legacy of Time video trailer and opening cinematic is also included for playback on your PC or set-top consumer DVD player

Minimum Requirements: (Windows95)
- 2nd Generation DVD-ROM drive
- Windows 95 required
(will work with Windows98 with audio acceleration turned OFF)
- Pentium® processor, 166MHz or faster
- 16MB RAM
- 70MB free hard disk space
- 640x480 display, high color (16-bit)
- Sound Blaster 16 or 100% compatible 16-bit sound card
- Video and sound cards must be compatible with DirectX**
- MPEG-2 video decoder required to view video trailers and other non-game related video content
Macintosh users: (PowerPC G3 or faster)
A direct port of the original CD-ROM to Macintosh DVD was exclusively available as a specially bundled product
with the very first DVD-equiped systems from Apple Computer, Inc..
Though it does not contain the remastered graphics, it still does offer the convenience of a uninterrupted gameplay
on a single DVD disc.
NOTE: G3 users with the latest ATI Rage Pro graphics accelerators should set the game display mode to 'line doubling' (under the FILE:OPTIONS menu) for best compatibility.
CAN'T FIND THE MAC DVD? Mac users who are unable to find a limited-edition DVD of Legacy of Time for Macintosh, can actually obtain the Windows DVD-ROM to take advantage of the special remastered features! First install the CD-ROM version of Legacy of Time for Macintosh. Then, download the 111KB patch (Stuffit-compressed) and launch it to update the Legacy of Time application to the DVD version. That's it! You're all set to go!
If you do not own the CD-ROM version of Legacy of Time, lead programmer Roland Gustafsson has posted a 1.7MB Stuffit archive of the Mac DVD-ROM application along with instructions to use it with the Windows DVD-ROM.
